easiest alteration ever

i went to ross to buy one thing, a plain pink 2T shirt. while perusing the kids' racks, this little number had been ditched there. lucky me! i wasn't in love with the overload of flowers, but it had potential, so i bought it.
after ten minutes with a seam ripper and some scissors... voila!
i'm in love.
when ripping out the stitches/cutting away the unwanted embellishments, just make sure to err on the side of caution for the dress. it's better to mutilate the flower you're taking off, than to put a hole in the dress.

*a word to the wise: don't constantly buy things that have potential unless you're serious about following through with the alterations. otherwise, you'll end up with more projects than you can handle and a pile of clothes you can't wear.
now i have a bunch a flowers to do even more fun things with...
this one is simply hand sewn to a bobby pin (the clips that they usually use for little girl hair clips work better though).
i'm thinking some of these flowers are destined to be on headbands.
