you know your local walmart has a problem with indoor birds if they
have to station a guard owl in the bakery section.
i only noticed the owl because on my way in the store a girl walking alongside me squealed and jumped about a foot because she thought the new owl over the front doors was real.
once i spotted this little guy inside, i knew i had to take a picture of the silly set up.
and fittingly, as i crossed produce, digging for my phone, a little bird swooped past me.
flying in the opposite direction in fear of this plastic menace no doubt.

I think this is a fun thing for the workers. A few weeks ago this same owl was perched above the entrance door and for a quick second I thought it was real and got a little spooked.
