count your many calories -- i mean blessings.

lose it! is an app for iphone and ipod touch.
if you don't have it, you should get it.
(if you don't have one of those, don't despair, you can go to loseit.com to use it online.)
i dusted off this old app and i've been religiously using it since the new year started.
you always hear "count your calories. write down everything you eat," but it's always so annoying to write it down, hunt for the calorie count, add it up, yadda yadda yadda.
this app makes it easy since it's a database of foods. you just have to click and you're done, its smart little computer app brain figures everything out for you. and if what you ate isn't in there, no worries, you can add it yourself (or you can fudge it like i do: my vitatop wasn't in there this morning so i just picked a regular muffin and picked 1/2 portion to fit the calories of the vitatop.)

this sounds like a lose it! infomercial, but it's what i'm up to these days.
so there.
i've never been so aware of calories/sugar/fat/sodium content in food.
i'm definitely still a fan of eating what you want, as long as you stay within your budget, but don't worry, i'd never go as far as mister twinkie diet.

So, this site is awesome! I've been thinking about trying weight watcher's online for a while, but haven't b.c I don't want pay for something I might not really use. The same principle for free? Yes please!
