for my
nine nieces and nephews on my side i made hair bows and bow ties as a
cheap way for them all to get a little something to open.
the red centers are hot glued on berries from the floral section.
i got the idea for this after marquesas did her post about making a big felt bow. (and she got her inspiration from here. check it out.)
they're
pretty self explanatory. my biggest tip though is to actually measure
the kiddos before you start. i was a little to eager to get started and
made all my bows a little comically too big for them. i made the straps a
little longer and put more than one velcro strip so they can grow into
them.
then i wrapped them up in brown paper packages tied up with strings.
my nephew sporting his new tie and newly lost teeth!
