how is my birthday next week? it feels like september just started! (and let's be real, it feels like 2010 just started.) thinking back i've realized where the time has gone this month, let's measure it in weekends since that's the best part of any week anyway.
september weekend #1: dinner with brett's mom, early morning garage sale-ing, spray painting till my little fingers just couldn't take it no more, and stake conference.
these all transformed into white for the 'ol baby shower
september weekend dos: the one and only best baby shower of the year ever humanly possible in a lifetime times 1 billion.... sorry i mean... lolly's shower we threw. lot's of work, but obviously sooo worth it for muh gurl lollisha. after the shower i took a good looong nap and woke up to prep for sharing time. then on sunday i started work on my very first heritage makers book ever, and worked on it like a beast because i was under a time crunch (more on that later too).

september weekend 3: friday night we went to the byu football team fireside, i've never seen the church so packed before in my life. how nuts. my favorite part was definitely when the two polys sang. friday night also found us redboxing it (the killers, very cute. i love katherine heigl, ashton kutcher and especially my main man tom selleck), brett studying, and me crafting a gift for another lolly shower! after the shower we went to the game and had a grand old time.
emily came over for the shower so i got to hang out with her and this little cutie! yay!
we haven't been to an FSU game since we got those box seats in 08. we're so lame. these seats were basically in the boxes, we could feel the ac coming out of the open windows, and the shade was heavenly.
i'm surprised brett wore an FSU shirt, he's a huge SEC fan so he never really cares about FSU (which is also why we never go to games). he listened in one ear to his team take on the gators, while at the same time explaining the FSU game to me since i always get so distracted/can't ever keep track of the ball (those fake hand offs trick me every time).
whew, busy times, and next weekend is just as busy! bah!

Big month for yall! Why do the calendars fill up so fast in fall? Mine are CRAZY busy from now till like Nov. 13!
I love keeping up with your fun life on the blog, Freydog! Keep it up:) I can't wait to hear more and see pictures from Lolly's shower. I know it was AMAZING because of who threw it and who it was for! I so wish I could have been there. And I'm sorry about the HM confusion! I hope everything got cleared up! I love ya lady:)
