birthday top ten list:

10. khol's shoppin for deals. 9. bethann's gorgeous reception. 8. getting compliments on my birthday outfit and shoes, then going home and finding the goodwill sticker still on my heels! pretty impressive since i got those heels two years ago. 7. eating at another broken egg with bretty (this would be higher on the list, but my cinnamon roll french toast was a total sugar overload. i'm still feelin it, please just give me salty things!)  

6. hilarious conversations with brett... 

me: "you know, i really like surprises." 

brett: "yeah i've got some planned for you, duh." 

me: "no those are called presents, those don't count." ♥  

5. my "what's new cupcake" book, my "new" sewing machine, my new shirt, and my lovely fabric flowers to be put on a headband! 4. going to joann's without any coupons like a dummy, then getting to the check out and the cashier randomly deciding to scan her stash of coupons for every coupon that applied! saved me ten bucks and made me feel so loved! 3. dinner with friends. i love being social. we invited over three couples, and somehow we all squeezed in around the table (thank goodness for that bench brett made and the end table we used as a chair). 2. brett making and decorating a cake for me. this was the first time i've ever seen him make a cake in the four years i've known him. he was out of control while he was decorating, i should have videoed it. 1. all of the birthday wishes, thanks everyone for being happy that i got borned!

and the birthday fun isn't over yet, thursday is dinner with the fam to celebrate kyre, karley, and me!

p.s. i have also decided to do a pic of the day for this year of my life. candace and renee used to do it back in the day, but they would always start in january. they would take pictures every day then choose just one to be the pic of the day (POD if you will). the POD would be something that summed up activities of the day, or was artsy, or just silly/random. so look out for sunday updates with the PODs for the week, i'm excited :)
