hello halloween, you're just around the corner!
it's time to get festive, especially with the weather finally taking a turn for the cool side.
here's our first halloween decoration ever! i got the idea from craftaholics anonymous.

ever worked with burlap before? me neither. it's quite messy, but fun.

at craftaholics modpodged halloweeny paper onto her boo letters, and i
was fully prepared to as well, but i got kind of attached to the look i
had created. i used the black paint on the sides of the letters so when i
modpodged them you wouldn't be able to see any wood. i was a little
messy because i wasn't expecting the letters to be naked, but then i
decided that was the perfect haunted house-ish look, so voila i was
done!
