ode to winter

{winter, in a nutshell}

i love hot chocolate.

i hate hurtful dry/cracked hands and lips.

i love scarves.

i love the scents of the holidays.

i hate runny and stuffy noses.

i love the warmth coming out of the vent at our feet in the bathroom.

i love snow.

i hate getting out of the shower in the morning/leaving the house with soggy scrunched hair.

i love the lack of humidity.

i hate breathing in the cold air while running.

i love holiday crafts/baking.

i hate how early it gets dark.

i love snuggling up in bed with my boo.

i hate getting out of my snuggly bed in the morning.

i love my pea coat.

i hate scraping my windshield in the morning.

i hate fighting my purse to stay on my shoulder because of my coat.

i love christmas cards.

i love the oranges/tangerines from grandpa's tree.

i hate that the heater in my car takes a million years to heat up.

i hate rollin' up to church with ashy legs.

i love decorating/staring at the tree.

i hate coming home at night to find brett hasn't turned on the christmas lights.

i love my christmas jams.

i love time off/spending it with family.
