last december

so marquesas' post about last year vs. this year has had me taking a walk down memory lane for the wonderful time i was having this time last year. 

last year on this very same sunday, i borrowed a cap and gown, met up with kyre at fsu, took graduation pictures, then went to the handel's messiah performance/christmas devotional.

it was such an amazingly happy time. i was finally free of my awful internship with nothing but the happy holidays and job prospects ahead of me.

here are the pictures from that day that i never ended up sharing.

from left to right starting at the top: chillaxin in my power heels, sportin' my mama's fsu ring (they were so much cooler back in the day), actually happy i got a degree in education (psh), continually fighting with that cap, a high school musical shot, and conversing about highly important academic matters with my main man.

brett was studying then and is still studying now. not much has changed. but his time is coming! i'm so excited for him to graduate! t-minus a year and a half!
