i ♥ him

beware, this post is a little unlike my usual. kinda mushy. 

you've been warned.

after slaving away at the oven for hours, i was feeling a little bit off.

i'd unknowingly been standing with my knees locked pretty much the whole time.

because of that (and hopefully not some other mystery disease - i'm a hypochondriac in case you didn't know), the circulation to my limbs was kinda funky. i was feeling pretty down and worried when i finally crawled into bed. 

in my wimpiest little baby voice (yes we speak our own little baby talk to each other. 

don't judge, or gag.), i told brett that i needed a nuggle (a.k.a. snuggle, our little baby language screws up all the first letters pretty much, like a hug is a tug - don't ask, i don't know how we started this after we got married).

anyway,

so my pitiful, worried self was very annoyed to find that his idea of spooning was him faced towards me with his iphone in my back and his attention glued to it.

naturally i told him nevermind, being the little spoon isn't worth it if there's a phone between us.

and here's the good part...

then he said,

"but babe, i'm just looking up the adverse effects for your tdap shot to see if that's what's causing it."

it may seem silly, but it made me feel so good.
