no heat vintage curls

i got home from the gym at 10 last night and showered. i had straightened my hair the day before so i didn't want to style it again. usually i would just sleep in my wet hair and wear it in a pony tail the next day. boorring.
my sister had sent me this video tutorial from thelipstickdiaries for no heat vintage curls that you sleep in so i thought it was the perfect time to try it!

the curls on the right side of my head were a little funky so i pinned that side back.

it's soo easy all you need is an elastic headband (and hair spray). and really it's two styles in one cause it looks so cute when her hair is all tucked up, very 1940s. as you can see my curls weren't very defined. curls fall out of my hair really fast, so i should have known better and used more hair spray. it was also hard to get all of my long locks to fit up in the headband. getting them wrapped tightly was impossible at the end.

here's the video! try it out!

I've seen that tutorial! It looks awesome! I was wondering if it worked that well! Ya, you have LOTS of hair. Long and thick. But it looks SUper cute!!! And such a simple hair do for the next day when all you have to do is sleep in it!
