rotations, week 1

so far brett is surviving his first rotation.
he's at a rehabilitation hospital for the next few weeks. his professor puts them on the spot a lot, not too fun (unless you know all the answers).
this week he spent half the day (or less) with his professor and then he's off to do random papers, case studies, and research that the professor deems necessary (for those times when they don't know the answers).
brett and the other student at this rotation also go over patient files at the hospital. he said some of these patients have ten disease states, which makes meds very complicated. one patient had a list four pages long of meds! woah!

with all that being said, somehow brett has still found time to squeeze in his afternoon nap and a game of golf... make that two games of golf... little stinker.
thursday also ended up being his friday! that lucky duck! (although theoretically he has homework and should study or something like that.)

on the not so stinker side, he also came to my work and ate lunch with me. :)
and it was freakishly chilly for may.

brett's bestie jp is at a different hospital with a very intense professor. she's got high expectations and really knows how to make you feel like you don't know anything. luckily brett doesn't have her until january so he can make sure he's ready.

happy weekending everyone!

Bummer we don't have a girls weekend this weekend!!! But happy to have our hubs home. I know Ryan is relieved he didn't have to go to Alabama!

Rotations sound hard. Also, I like that you omitted the sandwich scandal from the ol' blogity blog. I just think it's so sweet that you guys ate lunch together though. Three years and you still got it :)
