up the creek

up the creek raw bar is my new favorite place to eat in the st. george/appalach region. (my other fave is captain snook's on 98 in eastpoint. snook's is probably better overall since it's cheaper.)

i mostly just like it so much because of the seating. they have inside, outside, and a closed in deck. on the deck you can open the windows to look out on the river. it was perfect since it was chilly last weekend. they also have binoculars for you so you can get a closer look at the pelicans and what not (or the losers who get their sailboats stuck on sandbars in the river and have to get out and push. was that us once? dang).

i wish i could have taken all week off for spring break. i'll save my days off for the summer though, when it's actually pleasant to be nakey at the beach. brett's golfing all week anyway and he deserves it. this time next year we'll be prepping for graduation and the naplex, i'm not antsy or anything though...
