awkward and awesome

awkward:
-the never ending viagra commercials on the oldies station. i feel brainwashed to get my pills for cheap and not settle for less.
-wearing corduroys and making that corduroy sound "scrich scruch scrich scruch" as you walk. makes my thighs feel massive, even if the sounds effect is coming from the boot cut part rubbing together. this can lead to a very awkward gait to avoid the scrich scruches. i'm walking funny? no i don't have poo in my pants, i'm just trying not to sound fat.
-car shopping. walking on the lot and getting attacked by the dealer, meeting up with a craigslister and nitpicking with them about their car, test driving... whew, i'm glad that's over.
-zero class participation, in a class of 7. the presentation ends, and the professor says "what do you guys think? how could she improve?... anyone?... somebody say something." i'd like to end the awkward silence, but i do it every time! it's time for someone else to step up. bueller.... bueller. 

awesome:
-my car! i'm still childishly excited to drive anywhere.
-words with friends. we finally jumped on the bandwagon and it's awesome. well except for when brett beats me. boo. i played the word "jaded" and got 103 points for it. highlight of my night.
-getting a 99 on my exam. don't mind me. (it was a take home test though, which explains it. it would have been pretty sad if i didn't ace the test he told us to use our notes on and google stuff we didn't remember.)
-general conference weekend! woo!
-3 years ago today brett took me on a little picnic. and proposed.
