a night you won't remember, with friends you'll never forget

well we must be getting old. this past weekend was brett's ten year reunion. they were chiles' first graduating class so it was the school's first reunion. to kick off the weekend, they had a friday night pub crawl, needless to say we passed on that. (although we still got a koozie, which is where the phrase from the blog post title is from. classy.) saturday we went to kickball/lunch at the school, hung out at sarah's house (and played with her cute kiddos!), went to tgifriday's with charlie and john, and i stayed home while brett went to the cocktail party that night.

brett's in the middle in yellow -- hitting a home run as the first batter of the game.

please just look at brett. ten years later and he's still the same goof he was back then. this is from a super long video they showed at the cocktail party.

they also returned these surveys they filled out at graduation. love it. looks like he graduated from fam just in time! he'd be sorely disappointed in himself to know he sold the cruiser just before the ten year mark.

and just for fun, here are a couple pictures someone posted on facebook since the reunion was coming up...
little baby face brett. he looks like cooper.

big bad wolves tailgate. is that a puka shell necklace i see?

**post edit:: here are some picture i stole from facebook...

So hilarious!!!! Ryan and I have zero motivation to go to ANY high school reunions. Granted, Ry's 10 yr has passed, and mine is coming up, but still. I live WAY to far from Seattle and lets be honest, how many people do you really wanna chat with from high school. All I know is, I'd rather have a "reunion" over facebook than see some people in person! I know, I'm such a jerk!! I applaud everyone who goes to theirs! I was a new student for my high school, so maybe if I lived in the same city and grew up with the same kids for 10+ years, I would probably feel different.

PS, Ry TOTALLY rocked the puka shell necklace. He even had a mushroom charm dangling from it. YIKES.

Love it! This was obviously Chris's 10 years too but he wasn't so into going. Oh well. Love the Brett old pictures especially the camo overalls. Awesome! Sad day about the Cruiser but happy day about pharmacy school!

brett didn't really want to go to his either! ha. a friend of his was in charge so she made sure their group of friends went. :)

Um, I totally want to go to mine! Is that weird? Also, I looove the old pics. I wish my class had done a survey or something like that!

Haha--I pretty much keep in touch with every person from highschool that I intend to ever see again. Anytime I run into anyone from High School by accident it is SUPER awkward. I can't imagine facing an entire room of awkward conversations!! haha!

Also, Brett's fashion sense is totally....I was trying to think of some 2002 slang for "so great" but I'm coming up empty. Haha--maybe slang hasn't changed that much?? Or I just don't know any of the new stuff??
