christmas

this year we spent an entire week in nashville for christmas. it was so nice to have chill time with brett's family and not worry about setting an alarm clock for an entire week. here are some highlights:
-leaving at 5:30am so we could go out of the way to hit up unclaimed baggage.
-getting to the house to hear that will had just accidentally ridden the baby gate down the stairs like a sled.
-going to opryland.
-facetiming christmas eve with my fam so we could see my parents open their new ipod touch.
-christmas morning when emme caught santa putting the final presents under the tree.
-opening presents with family and those crazy kids.
-my (our) new camera! so exciting!
-going to christmas mass with julie.
-playing trivial pursuit, rook, euchre, pretty pretty princess, and reading book's on emme's nook.
-waking up too early with katie to hit up the after christmas sales.
-driving past dolly's house.
-katie, bill, and will all needing antibiotics for something or other.
-emme loving her christmas loot. such a little princess.
-brett making ridiculous purchases at goodwill.
-eating at puckett's and goodness gracious. sooooo delicious, even if you're vegan.
-playing hide and go seek with facetime. (it was a very techy christmas.)
-going to winchester to hammer's and to old man steadmon's boy's house.
-brett shaving his beard into a different, awkward style each day.
-playing at a huge castle park.
-brett looking like a creeper with that stache at the park.
-finishing reading the help on the drive home. looooved it.
-coming home to a jam packed full mailbox, karebear, and our own lovely bed.
