new year's

my family did our christmas eve festivities on new year's day since we didn't get to all be together for christmas.

we played in kyre and lolly's new, spacious back yard. (i'm loving my new camera's ability to shoot in low light without a flash! you would never guess it's almost six in these pictures, so awesome!)

admired kyre and lolly's big dogs. (and big mudroom/laundry room! luckies!)

ate black eyed peas and greens for the new year and played until present time.

exchanged secret santa gifts (thanks for my new infinity scarf cariayn!) and ooh'ed and ahh'ed over baby brennan.

and we kicked off the new year by just being cute in general. (psst -- notice anything about brett's outfit? he's wearing his new overalls... goof.)
