valentine's card

i know valentine's is over, but this card could be adapted for any old time you need to tell someone how much you care...

this was not the card i planned on making for brett for vday at all, it just came to me (the night before valentine's, i work best under pressure).

i found some left over cricut letters. i attached everything with rolls of tape on the back, which was also not what i expected to do, but i really like the 3D look it gives the card.

oh the difference a little punctuation can make. 

i was just going to put a period, but then the inside of the card just came to me so i cut out a couple more periods...

i was rifling through my pictures in search of pictures of us for the real card i wanted to make (found here from martha), when i came across this gem of me lookin' a fool.

all this card really requires is a crazy picture of you and a speech bubble.

i also purposely cut it out so that brett's arm looks like mine - it made me look even stranger and cracked him up when he first opened the card. 

to keep with the pop up idea of the martha card, i gave myself a little accordion backing. 

done.

better than any card i could have bought.
