graduation part I: the hooding

i can't believe graduation is over! brett is graduated! the past four years went by so slowly yet so fast at the same time. strange how that works.  graduation weekend began on thursday. i got off work early after i finished my bulletin files (whew!) to go dress shop :) brett said i didn't need to buy a dress for graduation... so naturally i came home with two new ones! thursday night big bill and julie got to our house around 8. it was their first time coming to tallahassee since we got married, and their first time seeing our house! we woke up on friday, got a slow start, and hit the big capital city for a mini tour. we met up with karen and my parents for the pharmacy school hooding that afternoon.

here's brett's friend rita speaking at the hooding. this was moment #1 of the weekend when i got a little choked up. she got teary when talking about how they couldn't have accomplished this alone without their family for support. so surreal that it's over!

officially hooded. and obviously very comfortable. feels like we were doing this with his white coat ceremony just yesterday/a lifetime ago.

the poor hat dug into his head since there was one size for everyone. his mama's so proud of him!

his dad and julie are proud too!

and my parents!

annnnd me!

brett and jp had to go to graduation rehearsal after the hooding so we ran a couple errands until he was done. we went to red elephant that night per brett's request. (he ordered a pizza and double checked with the waitress that she got no cheese and she said, "oh yeah i got it. you come in here a lot so i remember you." haha)

So insane!!!! Love your dress by the way. I know i am going to ball my little eyes out during Ryan's graduation. Basically, he couldn't have done it without me....sooooo Hahahaha that's what us wives do! Get our men through school!!! I'm thinking about getting a diploma for best wife through law school. Just kidding. Is life a bit more relaxed now? Or no? I know he still needs to pass his boards, and find a job hahaha no biggy, but at least the school headache is over!!
