i wasn't planning on taking any classes this semester because i never got around to reapplying as a non-degree seeking student. how lame and lazy of me to not be doing class since i can take six hours for free so might as well right?
just for fun today i went on blackboard to see if i could register and lo and behold i could!
(apparently you don't have to reapply every semester as a non-degree seeking student. i work in the registrar's office yet i know nothing. shameful.)
it took me 20 minutes from start to finish to get registered, get my scholarship form filled out/turned in, and a receipt in my hand saying i owe the university nothing. feels so good.
i was even able to nab two classes that interest me! to top it all off, neither class has any required books to buy! cha ching!
i'm taking a web design class (online) and a history of the seminoles and southeastern tribes class (one night a week)! i'm sooooo excited!
when i was at deerlake i taught about the seminole wars but i barely knew anything. me and my friend osceola are about to get better acquainted.
p.s. also it's september! can you believe it?! where has this year gone?! let the pinning for birthday gift ideas begin!

That's awesome that you can take classes for free! You may as well!! They sound like interesting classes!
So jealous! Not so much about the history class....but still it sounds great! Is that Osceola chief a woman??? lol he's kinda fem looking. just sayin
So my mom and I are together right now and when I read that....we were like...baby? and then it is about classes....lame, but glad you got a class. :)
