we planned a beach trip for easter to surprise karebear with bill and katie coming to the beach too. the last time we were at st. george with them was right after they got married, before they had kiddos, before we broke up ha, and when we had a sail boat at the beach. time flies.
we spent saturday at the beach and the pool and somehow i didn't get burned. holla.
emme loved "grandma's beach". katie said emme's been running around asking to go to the beach today.
chillaxin while emme goes to town building a sand castle.
brett loves that baby will. he tries to hold him every chance he gets.
don't mind us, just plotting ways to get some use out of my passport/get my travel fix.
brett lookin' snazzy in that goodwill jacket and easter tie. enjoying some sundrop from a glass bottle.
dubbya boo.
and here's the rest of the weekend in a quick shot since they're all on the facebook.
we dyed eggs, decorated cookies, hunted eggs, and ate some delicious seafood. we love those rudders, i'm so glad we got to spend easter with them. i love how emme doesn't forget anything. we went to dinner on saturday and she asked me to take her to the bathroom but i said "i can't, i'm stuck" since i was sitting in the middle of the table against the wall. the next day at church i volunteered to take her to the bathroom and she said "you're not stuck?" ha. what a little smarty. i also love how she calls me "fweeyah" and brett is "michael brett". (my uncle brett perhaps?)
'No words in Christendom mean more to me than those spoken by the angel to the weeping Mary Magdalene and the other Mary as they approached the tomb to care for the body of their Lord: “Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen” (Luke 24:5–6).' - President Thomas S. Monson
