artsy fartsy

it's officially summer! woo hoo! in celebration of the end of the semester here is my art work from my drawing class this semester. it wasn't a class for a grade, it was just once a week for fun at the union. next i wanna take the ceramics class or the photography class.

this is a graphite drawing. we did a lot of still life's of random stuff in the art studio. 

there are also a lot of strange plaster feet and hands that we used as models ha. so these two pictures look like creepy halloween things. this footy is drawn with conte (if that's how you spell it)

charcoal hand. it makes me think of that game you play in middle school where if you look at someone's hand who's doing that, you get punched. 

i didn't get to finish my last picture because i got sick. so one day i'll buy some pastels and finish these water lilies. i'll just add it to my list of projects to do in all my free time this summer! holler! 

also in celebration of the end of the semester we're going to tennessee tomorrow to see brett's papa bear during brett's one week off of school.
