some catching up

a lot has happened since my last post....

1. the school year ended (and so did my time at the deer).

2. we took a temple trip with evan and karley.

3. we went to st. george to hang out with brett's mom. we also went to the mullet toss for the first time ever. lots of interesting characters there. brett wanted to compete, but we didn't want to waste the $25 bucks and it seemed like you had to have a tattoo to be a contestant. maybe

next year.

4. i rediscovered the amazingness that is the public library. i don't know why i've been wasting

money buying books i'll only ever read once. i'm so excited to have time to read for fun again!

5. i went to girl's camp. i had one of my former students in my group which was pretty funny. and emily and her kiddos stopped by on their way home which was such an awesome surprise.

6. we got an entirely "new" living room! i was so excited to come home from girl's camp to see what it looked like. they're hand-me-downs from karley's sister that they went up to atlanta to get while i was at camp. i was sad i missed out on the trip especially since i've been wanting to go to a brave's game forever, but i'll settled with our awesome new living room.

7. i started my new job at my old work. i was an ops worker in the registrar's office and now i have the real job i was the ops under before. basically i'm an editor for the publications printed by the registrar's office.

8. and last but not least.... i locked myself out three times in one week! tuesday it was the car, wednesday it was the house, and saturday it was the house. that's talent right?
