i used to have time to do silly things like chill at the greenway and take pictures of dandelions.....
now, not so much.
this week has been nuts. today and yesterday i've had to leave school right when the bell rings to go across town for training meetings. this is very unlike me because i always have sooo much to do after school.
today my destination was the r.a. gray building, only 40 minutes after school got out.
i made it there with three minutes to spare. the meeting was very interesting and i'm excited for the rest of the workshop on saturday.
i headed back to my car to zip on over to my sister's house to celebrate my parent's anniversary.
it was when i got into my car and started to drive through the maze that is the kleman plaza parking garage, that i realized i had no kind of cash with me to pay for my two hour parking spot.
i pulled up, handed the man my ticket, and cringed when i saw $2.50 appear. i asked if he could accept debit as i raided my car/purse for change. he said no, but we can take a check, hallelujah!
so with visions in my head of the credit card commercial where the fast paced/well choreographed world comes grinding to a halt when a person whips out there checkbook, i held up the line of cars and wrote a check for two dollars and fifty cents.
life is strange sometimes.

ps did yall see that scary blonde giant on jeopardy the other night? whoa.
hey no biggie.. I wrote a check for a quarter one time at the public library downtown! ha! I feel your "holdin' up the line" pain.
haha! You gotta do what you gotta do. I'm just glad you had that check book. Otherwise you never would have escaped the clutches of the parking garage. Also, I'd love, love, love to use the lights for the reception--that would be amazing!
Thats a great photo. Cute blog!
